It doesn’t matter whether you’re on holiday by the sea, at the pool or lake or simply enjoying precious moments with your little ones at home. Every child will most likely love a poncho which is a favorite not only among kids but also among adults. It’s practical, quick-drying, loose-fitting, and allows the skin to breathe freely.

The children’s poncho by the Slovak brand BEKVÅM from the BORE collection is designed with closed sides for extra comfort and ease of wear. It comes in three universal sizes suitable for children aged 2 to 11 years. A big advantage is the material made from 100% cotton and a fabric called peshtemal. Peshtemal is a traditional Turkish fabric known for its high absorbency, quick drying, low weight, and compactness, making it ideal for travel and various activities such as beach trips, spa visits, sauna or sports. The secret to its absorbency lies in the exceptional quality of Turkish cotton, which has very long fibers. The more the fabric is used, the softer and more absorbent it becomes.

Dyed and washed using a special technique called “stonewash,” which creates a washed-out, vintage look. This technique uses controlled mechanical processes, including, for example, the use of pumice stones.

Made in Turkey in the Anatolia region which has a history of more than 600 years of peshtemal weaving on traditional looms.
