Girls swimsuit BEKVÅM salmon-n-blue

Girls’ salmon and blue one-piece swimsuit from the Slovak brand BEKVÅM, made from recycled materials – specifically ECONYL® fabric. The swimsuit is crafted from two fabrics – blue and salmon pink fully lined with a soft inner lining and available in four different sizes from XS to L. You can also find matching boys’ blue swim trunks in our shop, making it easy to coordinate siblings in just two clicks.

Swimsuit can be used all year round. Whether you are going on a holiday to the sea or a lake, or enjoying a dip in the backyard pool they'll be your reliable companion.
They are also useful for swim training or some spontaneous summer fun in fountains.

ECONYL® fibers are largely made from old fishing nets that are recovered from the seas and oceans by volunteer divers. The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) and UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) estimate that about 640,000 tons of such abandoned nets are floating in our oceans. Other waste materials used in the production of ECONYL® fiber include old carpets, textile scraps from manufacturing, and plastic components. These materials are given a new life instead of ending up in landfills. Each swimsuit is made from half a kilo of recycled plastic that would otherwise be polluting our beautiful waters.

The fabric is made in Italy, and the swimsuits are sewn in Slovakia, so neither the swimsuit nor the fabric traveled halfway around the globe. This way we try to minimize our carbon footprint and support the tailoring craft in Slovakia.

Care instructions: We recommend washing at temperatures up to 30°C. Tumble drying is not recommended.
